Dear Santa Claus,

This post is a bit summarized and frenchized, but the end is nigh, and in such cases as Christmas one doesn't have much choice in the date*.

I've been quite nice all along the year -not that nice, but quite enough actually. The same professionnally: I started on new basis, although now that my favourite Pumpkin has been promoted (call her Doc Pumpkin) and I still not, I'm a bit ashamed. But still.
You just have to remember the deep hollow in which I had fallen. Cleaning dirts of all the poshy neighbours around, hotlining with my sexy little french accent, ah and the markets too, installing lots at 4AM after having distributed the local newspapers... OK I admit, it wasn't intellectually challenging, but if you had my call-girl activities paid (logically) under the table and my pens screwing at home (the new business plan of the desperate german Hausfrau), I could finish the month with a €6000,- free of charges thicker wallet.
Enough to afford such delicatecy as a few good plates of Käs'spätzle and delightful sips of Erdinger Weissbier.

Ah ah I'm kidding.
(what a playful and mythomaniac and decent person I am)

But I managed to bring a bit of joy around me, too. I saw some smiles in the eyes. I renewed lost friendships (oh I can see a few ones!), lost for stupidities, mix-up, confusions, bad luck and full of immaturities that make you lose some time when this time should really have been worth it. But I reopened my heart. I'd like to broom away distrust, huh that's hard. Impossible not to hide one or two small things. But actually if you put up everyting together, nothing in my life is totally secret. Each one owns parts that others ignore. Such love, such wound, such regret, such infinity...

Well here comes the summary (after everyone could see that NO, I'm not living in an english-speaking country, and YES, I think first in german).
A few years ago a big XMAS PRESENTS CHAIN was organised, "the fifth reindeer": all the names of the participants were put together, mixed -I mean messed- up, and each one had to send a small present to the one who was randomly picked for you.
OK OK I know nobody reads my website *sigh*. Maybe you just curiously passed by. But

AREN'T YOU APPEALED BY THE IDEA???

I mean it doesn't have to be (well why not actually) (shipping fees maybe) (what a nasty Geldgesteuerte world) a present, it could be just a nice postcard, a dried flower (how roooomantic), some sand from the other side of the world, a little self-thought story about who you are, as you'll probably pick the name of somebody unknown. Imagine you could receive a word or two from Japan, Antartica or Papua!!!

What do you think about it?

Let's make a deal: if more than 10 people are interested, well, LET'S DO IT. For Christmas well, it's a bit late, but what about New Year's greetings?
C'moooooon be cool, don't let me speak aloud alone.
Just a little tiny letter... (says the one who never writes) (exactly! phone calls are soooo easy nowadays... Skype, ICQ, facebook, studivz.de ...all this electronic stuff that made us forget the MOST important: opening your mailbox and seeing it filled with, guess what, the nice thoughts for you just some time for YOU from a stranger????!

Hey tell me what you think about it in the comments (even if you find it stupid), and if you want to participate send me an email at lejournaldesylh AT free DOT fr!
Oh it would be great.

* genre j'ai fait exprès :D
